New Maybelline SuperStay Full Coverage Foundation

Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation has a new best friend and she's full coverage. If you haven’t tried the NEW Maybelline Super Stay Full Coverage foundation, you’re totally missing out.

Hi Blushers,

Here she is ⬇️ My skin type: Combination  After wearing the foundation for one week on my skin type, below are the detailed notes I took during and after applying the foundation:

  • oxidized — looked lighter when wet and darker when dry, but not to the extreme

  • worked best with The POREfessional Face Primer seriously this primer makes your skin look as smoothe as a baby’s bottom, but we’ll save a review on that for another blog post

  • worked best with a beauty sponge — I tried using my finger like I normally do and it was a total fail 

  • extremely lightweight — did not make my face feel like I was drowning in the makeup 

  • full coverage — if you’re not a full coverage type of gal you can definitely pull off a lighter coverage by starting your foundation with small dots, then building it up with more foundation according to your coverage preference and lightly dust powder all over your face to set it if you are a full coverage type of gal, this is going to be your new best friend — I had a scratch from my puppy on my neck that was really red and the foundation completely covered it!

  • matte finish — I started looking more dewy around the eighth hour in the t-zone area of my face, but it’s nothing a little setting powder can’t fix! 

  • I slept with the makeup on to test it for 24hrs, but who really wears makeup for 24hrs? Please don’t try this at home and wash your makeup off at night. I used a makeup wipe to see if I still had any makeup on in the morning and I did, but it was only on certain areas of my face, so it didn’t look cute and it didn’t last for 24hrs lol it lasted for 8hrs and I’m basing that off of the time I started getting oily, but the foundation was still nice and put! 

  • no smile lines 

  • smells like play dough 

  • formula is creamy and thin

Final thoughts: yay👍🏼 nay👎🏼? I can’t speak on anyone else’s behalf because everyone’s skin reacts differently to products, but I love her for my skin type! It’s a yay👍🏼 for me! The shade I purchased is 128 WARM NUDE and it’s not my exact match, but it’s pretty damn close. She’s extremely comfortable, lightweight, full-coverage, a matte finish, lasts for a good amount of time, and controlled my oil for the most part.
